1989

Interbroker Insurance Consultants, Inc. was incorporated on January 20, 1989,. It started its operation as an insurance agent with some large corporate accounts like Citimotors, Wheels, Inc., D & L, etc.  The Chairman of the Board then was Mr. Jose Z Isidro, a seasoned and respected insurance professional who was formerly the SVP & Director of F.E. Zuellig (M), Inc., and the President of Zuellig Insurance Brokers, Inc. and Ultramar Reinsurance Brokers, Inc.

1993

Interbroker transferred to a new office from Prince Tower in Salcedo Village to ITC Building in Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue (Buendia), both in Makati City.  Mr. Nestor Varela took over as General Manager.

1995

Opened a service office in Cebu City.

1998

Transferred to a new office at T-Tower in Burgos St., Makati City.  On April 24, 1998. The company amended its primary purpose to insurance broking and in October 30, 1998, it received approval from the SEC and was granted a broker’s license on December 29, 1998. 

2003

In September 2003, Interbroker transferred office to Electra House Building, Esteban St., Legaspi Village, Makati City.   Interbroker started introducing Employee Benefits and emergency special assistance.

2006

Intel Phils.  was won over from the local branch of one of the top 3 brokers in the world, and was added to the list of large corporate accounts of Interbroker.

2007

Mr. Ralph Liew took over as the new Chairman of the Board after Mr. Jose Isidro passed away in April 2007. The Insurance Commission granted reinsurance broking license to Interbroker.  SKI (one of the largest construction company in the Philippines), SEC Bldg. and Big E-Foods, were added to the list of large corporate accounts. 

 2008

Transferred to a new office address at the 9^th Floor of Rufino Plaza Bldg., along Ayala Avenue in Makati City's central business district.
